Finance and Administration
The Finance and Administration Division manages the college's budget and operations. The vice president for Finance and Administration serves as the chief financial officer of the institution and its fundraising arm, the FIT Foundation. The division administers the college's annual budget and undertakes long-term financial planning in support of FIT's strategic plan.
The division oversees the maintenance of the college's physical plant, including renovation, expansion, and security of all campus buildings and facilities. It manages the consultant services of the college's security and buildings and grounds personnel.

Budget
The Budget department facilitates the optimal use of FIT's resources to achieve the goals outlined in the FIT Strategic Plan, and supports the budgeting, reporting, and analysis of those resources.

Bursar
The office of the Bursar is responsible for invoicing and collecting tuition, fees, and other college-related charges.
Contract Administration
The Contract Administration department provides oversight of agreements for delivery of services on campus by outside vendors, such as custodial, engineering, and security; auxiliary services such as bookstore, dining, laundry, and vending; and leased spaces.
Environmental Health and Safety
The objective of FIT's Environmental, Health, and Safety department is to maintain a healthy and safe environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors on campus. The department provides training, evaluation of potential workplace hazards, plan review for construction projects, chemical hazard information and evaluation, air quality evaluations, and review of campus accidents.

Facilities
The Facilities department is responsible for the maintenance and care of academic and residential building spaces at FIT. Its work encompasses custodial, mechanical, electrical, HVAC and other functions supporting daily campus operations. Facilities also oversees construction projects that improve the quality of student, instructional, and administrative spaces.

Operational Services
Operational Services supports faculty, staff, and students by providing quality asset management, fleet management, mailroom, printing, receiving, and surplus inventory services.

Payroll
The Payroll Office serves FIT by means of ensuring a timely and accurate employee payroll; providing excellent and responsive customer service to the entire college community; and operating within the statutes and regulations established by the federal, state, and local governments.

Public Safety
The Department of Public Safety helps to create an atmosphere on campus that enhances the educational process by helping students and employees pursue their goals in a safe and secure environment.
Purchasing
The Purchasing department works with responsible suppliers in an open and competitive manner to ensure the prudent and economical use of public funds for the acquisition of goods and services of maximum quality at the lowest possible cost.
Space Planning and Management
The department of Space Planning and Management ensures that the allocation of space will be conducted in a consistent and strategic manner designed to optimize the productive use of this limited resource, while advancing the mission and strategic priorities of the college. It works to standardize the space allocation process; meet current and future needs and accreditation requirements; govern equitable and optimal space allocation among the academic programs, academic support, administrative, and student support units of the college; and ensure adherence to all applicable building, health, safety, and accessibility codes and regulations. All allocation of space, as well as movement of furniture, classroom functions, and staff workspaces, must involve this department.
