Program of Study

The morning core program meets Monday through Thursday from 9am to 1pm.

Two days focus on reading, writing, and grammar skills; the other two days focus on listening and speaking skills. Materials give students opportunities to use all of their language skills in authentic and engaging ways.

The morning core program consists of 16 hours of instruction per week. Students will then have 2 afternoon classes, to have a total of 22 hours of instruction per week.

Occasional Friday field trips take advantage of NYC cultural institutions, popular neighborhoods, and iconic fashion-related places and events.

Trips in the past have included places such as Beacon Dia, the New York Botanical Garden, the Brooklyn Museum, the Hudson River Museum, the Cooper Hewitt, the Cloisters, MOMA, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the High Line, Brooklyn Grange Farm, and the UN.
