Preparing for Your Credit Course
Finalize your Enrollment by Paying for Your Courses
If you have not already, be sure to make payment for your courses.
Visit MyFIT
Log in to the MyFIT portal often to access your class schedule, bill, course registration, grades, and a variety of other items. Your login is your FIT credentials.
After you login, click your name at the top of the page to learn your student ID number. Make note of this number and have it available when speaking to FIT staff.
Click the left navigation link called "FIT Alert" to set preferences on how FIT should communicate with you in the event of an emergency or school closing.
Check Your FIT Email
Information about FIT email accounts and Google applications can be found on the Information Technology website.

Get Your FIT Student ID Card and/or Term Sticker
If you do not have a student ID card, you must take proof of registration (a printed copy of your schedule from MyFIT or the Registration Center) and photo identification to the Department of Public Safety, located in Pomerantz Center, Room D404. Your photo will be taken and an ID card issued.
You will need a term sticker on your ID card each semester you are enrolled. To get a new term sticker, visit the Feldman Center Lobby security desk or the Department of Public Safety office with proof of your registration for the current term.
Carry your FIT ID with you at all times while on campus. Your FIT ID gives you access to campus buildings and facilities.
Review FIT Policies and Code of Conduct
All students enrolled in courses through the Center for Continuing and Professional Studies must adhere to the codes of conduct and college policies outlined in the Student Rights & Responsibilities Manual and the College Policy Library, as well as the undergraduate catalog and CCPS catalog.
Gather Course Materials and Books
Generally the professor will distribute a syllabus at the first class meeting detailing what materials and books will be required for your course. You can check the Barnes & Noble at FIT website if you want to see if the books are listed before the first class period.
