HSX 025: Watercolor Workshop  (update June 2019)

HSX 026: Perfecting Your Art Portfolio (Updated November 2019)

HSX 027: Wearable Sculpture (updated 11/4/17)

HSX 035: Model Building Workshop (updated June 2019)

  • One sheet of 2ply Museum Board, about 20”x30”
  • One sheet of 4ply Chipboard, about 20”x30”
  • Several sheets of stiff card stock 8 1/2”x11”
  • Utility knife with snap off blades (small, not large)
  • Elmer’s glue
  • 45, 45, 90 plastic triangle (8” or 10”)
  • 18” or 24” metal ruler with cork backing (cork is important for safety)
  • A couple of pencils

  • Note: Please bring all supplies on the first day to get a good start for the workshop.

HSX 051: Exploring Graphic Design (updated November 2019)

  • USB Flash Drive (portable “thumb drive”) minimum 8G capacity (You must bring to every class.)
  • Metal Ruler at least 18”
  • Pencils & Erasers (If you already have a set of colored pencils, that’s a plus.)
  • Sketchbook 6in x 9in, 8in x 10in or 9in x 12in size
  • Scissors and X-Acto Knife with extra blades - #11 handle, #11 blades
  • Plastic Goggles (must be worn when using X-Acto Knife)
  • Tape – double-sided clear (Scotch-type) 1/2” or 1”
  • 4 pieces 11” x 14” Black or gray mounting board
  • Roll of masking tape - 1 inch, 3/4 inch or 1/2 inch wide
  • Conventional note-taking materials (pen and notebook) are required for all classes.

 

HSX 052: Intro to 3D Model Making and 3D Printing  (updated June 2019)

  • 120, 150, 220 Grit Sand paper (can be purchased from a hardware store
  • USB or Cloud storage (ie: Google Drive) for saving files 
  • up to $50 to cover 3D printing costs (cost will vary per model)
