Tuition Assistance
Information for: Full-Time Employees and Part-Time Employees*
Tuition assistance is available for courses taken at other SUNY colleges. This benefit is for FIT employees only; it is not available to family members. Auxiliary corporation employees are not eligible for this benefit.
Each year, FIT receives a fixed dollar amount from SUNY to provide tuition assistance for employees taking courses at other SUNY colleges. Employees must pay full tuition costs upon registration and then submit proof of registration, payment, and course grade to the Office of Human Resources each year. The amount of assistance each employee receives will be pro-rated depending on the total number of employees who apply.

*Temporary employees and contingent part-time employees (temporary, assignment/project-based, seasonal) including but not limited to models, tutors, monitors/tech navigators, and installers are not eligible for this benefit.
