Muhammed (Mo) Shahadat is responsible for the day-to-day operations and staff support
in PrintFX and the FabLab. He graduated with honors from Parsons the New School of
Design with a BFA majoring in Product Design and over the years has developed an expertise
in digital fabrication. His previous work experience covers seasonal exhibition designs
for the NYNOW show for Sustainability booths at the Jacob Javitz center from 2012-2017.
He's also worked with various toy companies to produce working prototypes and appearance
models, and dabbles in freelance 3D modeling. He is an adjunct instructor that loves
teaching, he's taught 3D courses such as Solidworks, Sketchup, and Rhino at Parsons,
3rd Ward, and FIT. Outside of FIT he enjoys furniture design, comics, model building,
chocolate, and the minutiae of the design world.
