Scholarship and Financial Aid Resources

FIT is a public institution of higher education, a community college of the State University of New York (S.U.N.Y.), and as such disburses financial aid in the form of small grants, federal college work study, federal and state monies for eligible individuals through the Office of Financial Aid.

Each state has a vocational rehabilitation agency. For New York State residents, ACCESS-VR or C.B.V.H. if you have a visual impairment, are possible sources of funding based upon vocational goals.

There are no specific FIT grants for individuals with disabilities.
