About the Gallery
Gallery Mission: The Art and Design Gallery at FIT is an international showcase for
the work of students, faculty, distinguished alumni, and invited guest artists in
every exhibition. It is a window into the College and a window out. The exhibition
spaces serve as a place to foster learning and innovation. There is an expectation
that students install their work with the help of their instructors and a Gallery
installer.
Annual Theme: For the academic year 2022–2023, the curatorial theme is "Focus, Create.”
The Art and Design Gallery has three exhibition venues: the lobby, the gallery, and the studio space.
Gallery Hours
The Art and Design Gallery is open 9 am until 5 pm, seven days per week.
Location
The Art and Design Gallery is located on the northwest corner of Seventh Avenue and 27th Street.
