Robing Area

A robing area has been set up in Feldman Center, Room C205. The area will be staffed by FIT personnel during the event, so personal belongings may be left there.

Following the recessional, the platform party will return to the robing area. Please note that administrators and faculty are responsible for returning rented regalia to Barnes & Noble at FIT.

Duration

We estimate the program will be approximately one hour long from the start of the procession.

Reception

A reception for all in attendance will follow the ceremony in the Breezeway (located in front of the FIT Dining Hall). Hors d’oeuvres will be served. The reception will last approximately one hour.

Note: At this time, attendees will not be required to provide proof of vaccination at the School of Graduate Studies commencement ceremony. However, FIT still requires masks to be worn inside all campus buildings, including the Haft Theater. These conditions are subject to change should federal, New York State, New York City, or campus guidelines change due to the pandemic.

Further details will be posted when available. This page last updated: May 9, 2022.
