International Students
Federal regulations allow FIT to issue an I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility for Non-Immigrant F-1 Student Status) only to students who have been admitted into a degree program at FIT. Because credit course study in the Center for Continuing and Professional Studies does not lead to a degree, FIT cannot issue an I-20 for these courses. For this reason, it is not possible for international students outside the U.S. to enter the U.S. to study credit courses in the Center for Continuing and Professional Studies.
