Federal Pell Grant
Federal Pell Grants usually are awarded only to undergraduate students who display exceptional financial need and have not earned a bachelor's, graduate, or professional degree. Awards Amounts may change annually based upon congressional allocations. Most types of grants, unlike loans, are sources of financial aid that generally do not have to be repaid, unless the terms of the grant are not fulfilled.
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
The FSEOG program is administered directly by FIT's financial aid department. Awards range from $100 to $4,000 per year, depending on financial need, when you apply, the amount of other aid you get, and the availability of funds at FIT.
