2022 FIT Annual Awards Gala

The Fashion Institute of Technology's Annual Awards Gala serves as the pinnacle of the yearlong salute to the college's success and efforts. The event hosts honorees of prominence in creative industries as well as FIT's distinguished alumni.

2021 FIT Sustainability Awards and Conference

April 13–16, 2021

The 15th annual Sustainable Business and Design Conference, Changemakers in Action, focused on raising diverse voices that are making change in the industry and sharing how these voices are taking action in sustainability. The conference covered topics such as environmental justice, impacts of a global pandemic, and a range of initiatives that FIT students and faculty are working on to help solve industry challenges.

In 2021,  FIT's annual awards gala was combined with the Sustainability Conference. Sustainability award honorees were FIT alumna and co-founder and CEO of Evrnu, Stacy Flynn, who received the Changemaker in Sustainable Innovation Award; the founder of Eileen Fisher, Eileen Fisher, who received the Changemaker in Corporate Sustainability Award; and co-founder and president of Studio One Eighty Nine, Abrima Erwiah, who received the Changemaker in Social Impact Award. Social impact entrepreneur and activist Amber Valletta hosted the event.
