Alzheimer’s A to Z  

Are you, or someone you know affected by Alzheimer’s disease or dementia? If so, please join us for a workshop that provides information on detection, stages of the disease, causes, risk factors, treatments, resources and more. We will cover the basics of memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

Guest Lecturer: Donna de Levante Raphael, PhD (c) Human and Social Services, Gerontology, Director, National Memory Screening Program at the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. She is a member of the Gerontological Society of America, British Gerontological Society, TAU Upsilon and International Federation on Aging. She is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Alzheimer’s DOEA Trainer. Donna is a social services professional and gerontologist championing the quality of life for all seniors with a passion for Alzheimer’s awareness, care and support in both the professional communities and the underserved communities.

Meditation and Sound Bath Relaxation Experience

Join our experiential meditation and relaxation class, which includes breathing exercises, meditation and sound bath—a listening experience using therapeutic instruments that reduce symptoms of stress, pain and anxiety. Wear comfortable clothing, sit back and relax!
