Office of the General Counsel
The Office of the General Counsel (OGC) provides legal counsel, representation and
oversight to the College and its affiliated entities on the wide range of issues involving
higher education. OGC is led by Stephen P. Tuttle, General Counsel and Secretary of
the College.
The goal of the office is to represent the College's interests in business transactions
or dispute resolution and also to serve as a resource to provide legal advice and
representation to assist College departments in achieving their goals.
The General Counsel serves, ex officio, as the Secretary of the College. For more
information, see Board of Trustees.
OGC cannot provide legal advice or services to students on academic or personal matters
nor to employees on personal legal issues or matters that are outside the scope of
their employment. OGC handles only College-related matters.
If you wish to speak to an attorney about personal matters, please go to Referrals for Personal Legal Matters.
