Graduate Selected for CUP Fellowship
Marisa Hetzler, '21 Graphic Design, has been selected to receive a Fellowship for Change in Design from the Center for Urban Pedagogy.
CUP describes the fellowship: "The CUP Fellowship for Change in Design is an effort to do our part to support the development of a pipeline of skilled individuals from marginalized communities into the design fields, and to dismantle the systemic biases that stand in the way of their advancement as leaders in these fields."

Hetzler's senior thesis project, Svetha Weds Mark, as well as her position as Creative Director at the Collegiate Association for Artists of Color, contributed to the selection—along with her talent and level of social commitment.
