Italian Studies

The Italian Studies Minor is an interdisciplinary program of study in which students are engaged in the language, culture, history, and society of Italy within a broad European, Mediterranean and global context, from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance to the present day.

This minor leads you to a comprehensive understanding of Italy and of the Italian diaspora. The program also provides the opportunity for study abroad in Italy, for some of the language courses and electives.
