HPK 122 Graphic Design and Packaging Design
If you love graphic design and would like to see how it applies to a career in packaging, this is a class for you! You will learn hands-on as you develop a concept for a consumer product and turn that idea into a realistic brand. Using candy as the subject, you will explore consumer marketing strategies and marketing of confection products, develop graphics for your original product, and create packaging prototypes while learning printing and manufacturing techniques. You will learn all about the profession of packaging design and create portfolio-level work.
