Biography
William Mooney is a writer and scholar with broad experience in film. He has published a range of fiction and criticism. Film writing credits include Effects (1980) and Donor Unknown (1995).
Principal areas of teaching expertise are French Cinema and Classical Hollywood. His most recent scholarly work is a book entitled Dashiell Hammett and the Movies, Rutgers University Press (October, 2014).
