Biography
Rocco Piscatello, principal of Piscatello Design Centre, is a designer who specializes in the creation of design systems that integrate brand identity, interactive digital experiences, and environmental signage for clients and cities around the world. His passion is for helping companies create great brands, products and services through the power of design.
Prior to starting his own practice in 1997, Piscatello worked with the legendary designers Lella and Massimo Vignelli at the international design firm Vignelli Associates.
Piscatello’s award-winning work has been published and exhibited extensively in the United States, Europe, and Asia, and has been cited for excellence by the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD), Communications Arts, Graphis, HOW, PRINT, and the Type Directors Club.
Piscatello’s poster works are part of AIGA’s National Design Archives, Library of Congress, Milton Glaser Design Study Center, Vignelli Center for Design Studies, and numerous private collections. Rocco Piscatello: Poster Works for FIT, was published in 2017.
